Cathy Towle is honored to guide you through the creation, planning and implementation of rituals and ceremonies that will be treasured for years to come. A minister since 2005, Rev. Cathy has been doing Weddings, Baby Blessings, Funerals, House Blessings and other kinds of ceremonies for a growing community of friends, collegues and family for the past 4 years. A passionate and vibrant speaker, Rev. Cathy helps you weave together and inclusive, compassionate, and beautiful event that reflects your personal and spiritual beliefs, as well as your your cultural background. Rev. Cathy has worked with couples and families that come from very different backgrounds to honor tradition, culture and beliefs in ways that bring comfort and support to their situations.
Rev. Cathy’s own background is diverse. Born and raised a Catholic in the Midwest, from a farm oriented family, Rev. Cathy discovered different religions when she moved East to Boston. There she found yoga and began a life long love of meditation, yoga, spiritual practice and mindfulness. She studied Hinduism, Buddhism, Western Mysticism, Earth Based Religion, Herbalism, Astrology, Shamanism and Spiritualism. She became a Reiki Master in 1994, a certified Evidential Research Medium in 2006, and A Tera Mai Seichem Master in 2008. Rev. Cathy is the daughter of a African Shamanistic tradition called Palo. She was ordained an interfaith minister in 2005 from the One Spirit Interfaith Seminary in Manhattan in 2005. She is also a certified Grief Recovery Counselor.
Rev. Cathy is dedicated to creating spiritual community that respects the earth and celebrates the many ways spirit shows up for us. She is available for ceremonies in the New York tri-state area, and in Massachusetts, where she is registered to officiate Weddings. Fee’s vary according to the ceremony desired. Contact Rev.
